Horses read body language. This ability comes naturally to them. This coupled with their intuitiveness makes them remarkable helpers in a therapeutic environment. Heart II Heart's team of horses, therapist and equine specialist work along side our clients to help them reveal and process what is concerning them through what they experience while in the presence of horses.  In this particular model, there is no riding. Just the clients and horses interacting together; observing one another, relating, moving and ultimately finding and creating solutions.

Pictured above is Cody and Cash and our ever sweet Boomer. (not pictured) Cindi Sternfeld, wearing the red jacket, has over 20 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor. Prior to becoming an LPC, she taught for the Katzenbach School for the Deaf and subsequently became an administrator there. Cindi is fluent in American sign language. Paige Barnett (not pictured) is a lifelong equestrian. She is a certified Teacher of the Handicapped and has over 20 years of experience teaching sciences in an alternative school setting.  Cindi and Paige bring their combined experiences, compassion and insight to make equine therapy holistic and accessible.
